Bus Information

• St. Mary’s Bryantown School (T.C. Martin Zoned) students, K-8 will have bus service for the 25-26 school year
• PK students may ride the bus if they have an older sibling/relative riding the bus with them
• Please read the attached letter regarding bus riders.
• 25-26 School begins at 9:00 and ends at 3:30. Parents may begin drop-off at 8:45. Students should be in their classrooms by 9:00.

Pre-Order School Lunch & Milk

We offer lunch and milk to students on a daily basis. All lunch and milk must be pre-ordered for the month. Lunch menus are open on the 18th of each month and close on the 23rd. There will be no late orders accepted. Please set a reminder on your phone to place your order before it closes on the 23rd. Payments may be sent in to the main office or paid online for a fee.

Lunch and Milk will be ordered and paid (at the time of your order) on your FACTS Family Portal. Click for directions.

Pre-ordered milk will be offered at $10 per student per month. Parents of PK students may only order White Milk for their child.

Want to volunteer for our lunch program? Email minopoli@bryantown.org if you are interested in volunteering. Please make sure you are in compliance with the ADW’s Child Compliance Program before volunteering.

PE Uniforms are available for purchase through ReadyGoPromo. PE uniforms will be delivered to the school to save on shipping costs and distributed to families. PK students wear our PE uniform everyday. K-8th grade will wear one day/week.

Your parent service hours may be entered in your FACTS Family Portal. Under Family, Click on Family Portal Login. Our School District Code is smb-md. You may enter any time and from any device.

Volunteer Opportunities

The school welcomes and cherishes all volunteers. There are numerous opportunities to volunteer including:

• Helping in the classroom
• Working in the lunch room
• Working in the main office
• Assisting with fundraisers

All volunteers must be in compliance with the Archdiocese of Washington (see below) before having any contact with children in the school as well as read and sign the St Mary’s Volunteer Handbook 24-25 and the ADW Pastoral Code of Conduct.

Volunteer Compliance

It is a requirement of the Child Protection Policy of the Archdiocese of Washington that all volunteers who have contact with children complete the steps below in order to be in full compliance with the policy.

1. Complete, sign, and return the ADW Volunteer Application to the Main Office as well as a copy of a Driver’s License or Photo ID.
2. Register for Virtus: Log on to www.virtusonline.org and begin the registration process:
   • Click on “First-Time Registrant” on the left side
   • Click “Begin the Registration Process“
   • Click the down arrow to the right of “Select Your Organization” and scroll down until you find “Washington, DC (Archdiocese)“. Click on “Select“
   • Create a User ID and Password (you will want to write this down and keep it safe). Click “Continue“
   • Select St. Mary Bryantown (402) for the primary location
   • Complete all Registration Screens, including the “Pastoral Code of Conduct and Contact with Minors“
   • Select a “Protecting God’s Children for Adults” online training session, either in English or Spanish (within two weeks). Training is a series of videos and questions and takes between 85-90 minutes to complete.
   • Email crozier@bryantown.org with questions.

The above steps must be completed and recorded on VIRTUS prior to conducting the Livescan fingerprinting screening.

• Individuals may go online to find a fingerprinting location in all areas of the Archdiocese of Washington. Maryland locations are listed at: www.dpscs.maryland.gov/publicservs/fingerprint.shtml.
• Many local families will use the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office: https://www.firstsheriff.com/divisions/criminal-investigations/fingerprinting/default
• Please CLICK to download the form with the ADW fingerprinting authorization number.
• Bring authorization form for fingerprinting to one of the fingerprinting locations along with two forms of identification.
• Please send the receipt to the office as proof of fingerprinting.

Please be aware that you have 60 days to be in compliance with all  requirements and cannot work or volunteer until these requirements have been met.

Note: All volunteers that have been previously fingerprinted by the Archdiocese of Washington do not need to redo them. Those that have been fingerprinted for another entity, must be fingerprinted using the Archdiocese of Washington’s authorization (identifier) number. (Please check with crozier@bryantown.org if your status is in question).
